Q: When is the best time to run a product fundraiser?

A: There is no “bad time” to launch a product fundraiser!

Ask yourself these questions before setting a launch date. What is your fundraising goal? When do you need to raise the funds by? Start out by creating a fundraiser timeline. Do not forget to look at your school calendar to ensure there are no other groups running fundraisers during the same time period, or any other events that could potentially decrease your sales.

If you are looking at running a fundraiser before a holiday, make sure you plan ahead. Allow your group 2-3 weeks to sell before delivery.   Whatever part of the year you decide to start your fundraiser, make sure you plan ahead and spread the word. This will ensure your fundraiser is a success!
